Does card cleaning ruin a card?
If done correctly, no. If done incorrectly, it can. Cards are a form of modern day art, and when cleaning and restoring any art, moderation and patience are key. We have a strict process that we follow to ensure that the card is cleaned correctly, and the integrity of the card is not compromised.
What can you not fix?
There is actually a lot that cannot be fixed or attempted to be fixed on a card without getting into card alteration, which is not a service we offer. Issues that cannot be fixed without altering are tears, splitting, color breaks, color fade, rounded corners, dimples on modern plastic front cards, sometimes deep scratches, and sometimes severe corner bands.
Do you guarantee all issues will be fixed?
No. Some issues may not be fixable or require a very large amount of time to fix. In these situations, we will do our best to fix issues that are found, and communicate with you about issues that cannot be fixed.
Do you guarantee a higher grade?
Absolutely not. Any service guaranteeing a higher grade is a scam. The only thing that is guaranteed is that the card will be cleaned and/or restored, and handled to the best of our ability.
